The Beginning

Devansh discovered chess at the age of 5 and quickly showed an exceptional talent for the game. His analytical thinking and strategic approach caught the attention of coaches and competitors alike

Chess Journey

From local tournaments to national championship Devash’s chess journey have been remarkable. He won his first tournament at age 6and hasn’t stopped advancing since, culminating in his US Chess K-1 National Championship victory

Beyond Chess

When not studying chess opening or practicing tactics Devansh enjoys mathematics reading adventure books, and spending time outdoor He’s a well-rounded student with excellent academic performance

Chess Philosophy

Approach to the game

Devansh approach chess  with both creativity and discipline. He enjoys tactical positions but also appreciates the strategic depth of the game. His coaches note his remarkable ability to stay clam under pressure and think several moves ahead

His favorite opening with the white pices is the Queen’s Gambit while with balck he often employs the Sicilian Defense against 1.e4

Training Routine

Devansh maintains a structured training schedule that includes daily tactucal puzzles weekly games analysis with his coach and regular tournament practice. HE also studies the games of world champions with Magnus carlsen being one of his chess idols

His dedication to improvement shows in his rapid rating progress over the past two years

Chess Goals

Devansh has set several ambitious chess goals for himself

  • Achieve the title; of National Master before age 12
  • Represent the united States in international youth competitions
  • Attain an international FIDE rating over 2000
  • Help other young children discover the joy of chess through workshops and tutorials
